The Rock Wool wall and roof panel system is a much heavier product which again has been used extensively overseas for many years. This panel gives greater protection to higher fire risk areas than most other panels. The panels are manufactured with the Mineral Wool core in varying thicknesses, and a good selection of colours, textures, and various bonded profiles and materials. The panel system uses an interlocking panel joint and comes in 1200mm wide modules; however the panels can be manufactured to differing length requirements. Mineral Wool panel has good thermal and better acoustic properties over some other panels. The mineral wool panel system is more suited to higher risk areas and again must be installed to the correct specifications for the application being used for.
